    Session: Care That Truly Matters 

    Session Description: The right care at the right time at the right place - how hospice honors what matters most to patients at end of life. Presented by Dr. Lauren Loftis, Regional Medical Director for VITAS Healthcare in Northern Florida and Alabama. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM), where she has been a fellow since 2022.

    The session will take place on Tuesday, July 14th from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM EST

    2026 Election Ballot

    In accordance with the By-Laws of the Florida Council on Aging, the official ballot for the 2026 election is being conducted by electronic ballot and sent to paid members at least forty-five (45) days in advance of the Annual Business Meeting.

    All votes remain ANONYMOUS. To cast your vote, please complete the following online ballot.  Ballots must be submitted by Tuesday, July 7th, 2026. Online voting will be closed at 5:00 P.M. (Eastern Daylight Time) on that date. DO NOT VOTE MORE THAN ONCE.

    If you wish to Write-In a candidate, please fax (850-222-2575) or mail a signed statement confirming that the write-in candidate has given permission to be named. Write-In candidates will not be accepted electronically  (1018 Thomasville Rd Ste 110, Tallahassee, FL 32303).
